I looked at the transit visa thread at:
http://www.immigrationportal.com/archive/index.php/t-156668.html
But still have a question:
I am a citizen of India and now have my I551 stamp
I want to travel to India next week and am
looking at Cathay pacific/ Singapore/ AirIndia etc.
Does anyone have information about if transit visa is required for which of the following countries/ cities?
(I Just need to change air-planes in these cities)

-Singapore
-Hongkong
-Thailand (Bangkok)
-France (Paris)
-Germany (Frankfurt)
-Netherlands (Amsterdam)

Perhaps It might be a good idea to create a list of
countries we definitely know needs transit visa
and those which we definitely know does not need transit
visa.

Answers will be really appreciated.
Thanks

Recently (01-17-2005) i traveled on AP to INDIA via Frankfurt, i got transit visa from Chicago consulate. Strangely nobody checked my transit visa.

Travel on Malysian Airlines,.. if you can

My colleague just came back last week from his trip to india. Flew Malaysian airlines with just the stamping was enough. No Transit visa!!

Good luck

Frankfurt

I travelled through Frankfurt with I-551 stamp (my H1B had expired). Lufthansa airlines. I did not have a Germany transit visa.
Both while going to India and coming back, my I-551 stamp was looked at (and India, US, Frankfurt) , and no transit visa was asked for.
