I have an Advance Parole with I-485 pending with TSC.

I am considering to travel to India. Do I need a transit visa via Paris. Their website reads that one doesn't need if he has "re-entry permit".

Do we qualify? I don't have a valid visa stamp on my
passport.

Thanks for your feedback.

I am also in same boat....but I am traveling via Frankfurt....guys any real experiances please tell us clearly...it helps a lot!!

Have travelled via Amsterdam to New Delhi on AP and expired visa. Absolutely no problems whatsoever.

AFAIK, various airline offices give varying answers. Unless there is an immigration check at the transit airport itself, there is really no other way for the transit country to stop one with an expired visa with but with valid AP. Indian Immg will let one depart from India, and the only point where one can be intercepted is at the transit airport (while changing planes). I know they have that immg check in Germany bacuse my wife went through it while flying Lufthansa once. I do not think the CDG/Paris airport has that.

I went through CDG airport, Paris in Oct 2004 and came back in Nov 2005 through Zurich, I was having H1B stamping(valid) and there was no need of any visa. But I don't know if you are on AP.
