Transit visa via London? Help

Do I need a transit visa (I am H1B with valid stamp on passport) for transit via London (its a brief halt at London), no airport change.
I have been looking at this site

but am confused if I really need it.

With reference to point 2, its more that 10 months since my last date of entry to US.

Any experiences? I am really short of time and have to take the transit visa, if needed, before I leave for India. I have been getting conflicting opinions and am not able to contact the British consulate.

check in red color.. you should be fine without transit Visa

Exemptions: You are exempt from this requirement if:
You are travelling to the US/Canada and hold a valid US/Canadian visa (example) and also hold a ticket to the US/Canada routed via the UK.

You are in possession of an onward ticket for travel by air via the UK when LEAVING the US or Canada and your journey is within 6 months of your last date of entry to the US or Canada with a valid US/Canadian visa.

You hold a USA Permanent Resident Card issued on or after 21 April 1998. To calculate this subtract ten years from the expiration date on your Alien Registration Card (example).

You hold a Canadian Permanent Resident Card issued on or after 28 June 2002 (example).

You hold a valid Category D visa (normally printed on a red/pink sticker, green stickers do not qualify) issued by EU/EEA member states, which are valid for more than 3 months (example).

You hold a valid EU residence permit.

You hold a diplomatic or service passport issued by the Peoples Republic of China.

You hold a diplomatic or official passport issued by the Government of India.

You hold a diplomatic or official passport issued by the Government of Vietnam.
If you qualify from one of the above exemptions you are not required to hold a Direct Airside Transit visa and may still benefit from the Transit without Visa concession.
If you do not qualify from one of the above exemptions you should apply online and submit the following documents to your nearest entry clearance issuing post.

If you intend to change airports in the United Kingdom you will require a Visit Visa
