I wanted to travel outside. Was looking for these two airlines.
Air France or Swiss Airlines.
So do we require transit visa for any of these countires??
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
honey

Both if you are travelling on AP, H1 doesn't need transit visa's.

Though instead of taking this advise from people on the forum, you will be best served by either calling the airline directly or the country's consulates!

Help ghost-rider

i am taking air france in early feb. I am traveling on ap. can you let me know if they really require you to have transit visa.
also, why was your experience bad traveling with them. we have two infants and would appreciate any advice/tips.

ghost-rider,

Can you please provide some more details? I am planning to fly via Air France to India in March, planning to stop by Paris on the way back, I din't anticipate Air France in being bad. I have travelled on them before, via Chicago, and though I hated De Gaul airport as being the crappiest and most racist airport (don't get me started on that) of all the airports I have ever travelled though, Air France on the whole was not that bad.

ag28,

Could you post about your trip when you make it as well, or send me a pm?

I am planning to travel on AP, but since I will be halting in France for 2 weeks, I have to go for a short term Sheingan visa in any case.

One thing you already said 140 they are one of the most crappiest and most racist airport and second even they them self do't know what is going on inside there airlines. I was flying back from delhi on 25th dec and they knew paris-LAX flights were cancelled they still borded me from delhi. Landed in paris with my family ( infant and a kid) and the drama unfolded. they were not ready to route me to lax instead told me to go to atlanta or jfk and buy my own tickits to lax from there. After 2 hours of fight finally they booked me to SFO next day from where i was suppose to drive. then fight for hotel . Then next day again fough with there regional conroller in paris and made him agree to give me connection from sfo to lax. And true to there reputation they screwed up my check in lugage. which after 7 days i personally went to LAX and found out with united and and delta. How they got it no one knows. Then bags were torn and items missing on which case is still going and they are asking for original receipt.
So in nut shell they suck in every department ... I noramlly use singapore or cathay who are better then them .While going they use delta which has its own adventures. Trust me pay 500$ extra and fly with someone else then thee ediots.
