transit visa at frankfurt CP return

Does any body know if this is required?

I see from German consulate Atlanta website that travellers with a valid visa in their passports do not need any transit visa at frankfurt. I am flying Lufthansa returning from CP, and am not sure if would need a transit visa at Frankfurt for flying via frankfurt to US.

Successful CP returnees, please share your personal experiences.
 
The immigrant visa packet that you will get after your CP interview will serve as the "visa" for US. So you don't need a transit visa for the return travel.

I was in a similar situation. My H1 visa stamp had expired, so I obtained a transit visa while flying out, and the visa packet was sufficient while returning.
