Transit visa again

I am traveling to India thru frankfurt, coming back thru CDG. I am the proud owner of a GREEN CARD now :D (Apr 2004)

The question is: Is there a need for any sort of transit visa? I overheard somebody talking about it - he was saying that you need transit visa for Green cards based on the year it was issued! Donot remember whether he said that it is needed for GC's before or after a particular year ...

If you have the actual Green card in hand. Then you dont need transit VISA for any country. It does not matter when it was approved.
 
I donot think you need one . I went in Feb returned March thro Frankfurt. No body asked anything. My green card was somewhere mid 2004.
