Transit visa after passport stamping

I plan to travel to India in a few days. I would have my Passport stamped by then but will not have the Plastic Card itself by the time of travel. I enquired with the British Consulate and they said that I would have to take the Direct Airside transit visa if I am transiting through London. But does anyone know if that is the case with Frankfurt as well. I am evaluating my travel options at this point and any experience/advice will be helpful. Thanks.

One of my friend travelled through Paris in Air Inida without transit visa. So try that airlines (starting from NJ Airport).

I enquired about the transit for Frankfurt they asked me, I have to take transit visa
