Transferring to CSC after three years.

After waiting for almost three years, my case was transferred to California Service Center today. I was very upset by this.

I lived in CA when I submitted my I-485. But my NIW based I-140 was approved from TSC. Both my stupid lawyer and an instruction sheet from INS told me submit my I-485 to where my I-140 was approved. I did that although the TSC was much slower than CSC at that time. Now comes to this. Please share your experience to help us. RD 6/22/01, ND 7/16/01, FP 1/21/03.

Hope that your case will be approved soon. We have seen cases that got approved within 1 to 3 weeks after transfer. All the best and Good Luck.

same here...applied I-485 @ TSC in 10/01...transferred to denver office in 2/04....denver now works on 10/03 cases...oh, well another 4 months waiting is no biggie after waiting for nearly 4 yrs.

CSC is processing 1/09/02 now. I certainly do not want to wait for ANOTHER two years. I already contacted senator and congressman's offices and let's what will happen. NCSC will do a case referral, saying I should go by the 1/09/02 time now, which is 7 months after my receipt date.

After exactly 37 months of waiting (yes, more than 3 years!), I finally saw our case status updated online on July 23 saying our casses have been approved (by CSC) and the approval notice was sent on July 22. Am I supposed to get the approval notice or will my lawyer get it? If my lawyer gets it, will I get a copy as well?

Thanks.

Congrats Hopeful... You will get a courtesy copy and your attorney will get the original approval notice.
