Transferred --> Why and Then what ?

Hi!,

I saw lot of cases with Tranferred status.

Why the case is transferred ?

What happens after one's case is Transferred ( to local office ?)

TRANSFER is the backlog reduction plan !? - from CSC data

Here is the number of transfers at CSC.

116 - Sep 2003
168 - Oct 2003
215 - Nov 2003
689 - Dec 2003 as of 12/12/2003

 44 - 1st week of Dec 2003
645 - 2nd week of Dec 2003

The number of transfers this week is extremely bigger than ever.
I wonder if this trend is only at CSC, or common at all service centers.

How is at TSC ?

Kashmir, do you have any engine in project kashmir which will accept our consolidated Excel file and return results as above.
That way, we could determine if TSC (like CSC) is trasferring cases to local offices.
