Transfer to San Antonio Office from TSC

i was wondering if someone could share their experience or knowledge in this little matter.
My employment based 485 and all other related applications were transfered to san antonio from TSC a few months ago and now i have received a notice for interview in relation to the 485 application. I was under the impression that that for the employment based cases you just get approval notices and you are asked to visit one of the local offices to get your passport stamped. is it out of the ordinary to get an interview call and not an approval notice in this case? Thanks in advance.

approved. not many questions asked. would want to take all the usual documents though e.g. employment letter, pay stubs, tax documents, birth certificate, etc. I took a whole bunch of documents along just in case i needed them.

My case was approved, and passport stamped.
