Transfer to Newark

Does anyone know how it is taking at Newark to get the interview letter. My case was transferred on 11/12/02 but haven't heard anything yet.

Interview letters from Local INS office in Newark are usually sent with in one month of the case being transferred.

When was your case transferred from Vermont Service Center.

Did you or your attorney get a preliminary letter from INS vermont that your case has been transferred to INS Newark and you will receive your interview letter from the local office.

IS your case transferred on Dec-11-2002 or Nov-12-2002. ( because 11/12 and 12/11 are a bit confusing.. and sometimes we make a typo).

Why I am saying this is because, if it is Nov-12-2002, it is better for you to go in Person to INS Newark and clarify about your case.Because people whose cases were transferred to NEwark on Dec-04-2002, have already been interviewed.

Please let me know.
 
thanks for replying. TD is Nov 12 2002. I'm from one of the countries who have to go for special registration. Do you think it has something to do with it. Is that why it is so late?

It could be possible because of that reason.

But, it would not be a bad idea to go to Local INS office in Newark and clarify your situation.

Yes, my attorney got a letter stating that the case has been transferred, a week after it was transferred.
