TRansfer to Local Office after RFE...

Hi All,

Has anyone seen a case where a case was transferred to the Local office after an RFE was issued.
One of my friend is in a similar situation. He responded to the RFE in time.

Please advice.. gurus...

Though it's not that often, I have seen around six similar instances reported on this forum in last three years. Case can be transferred despite RFE either becuase of other reasons not covered by RFE or due to insufficient details in RFE's reply (just my guess).
