Transfer to Houston Office

Hello Everyone,

For those of you whose application (I-485) has been transferred from Service Center to Local office in Houston, I have the following words..

"Only God can help you now !!"

I say that with experience. My I-485 was transferred on Jan-2002 for a personal interview and till date no word from them. When I tried to inquire I am told that the waiting time is 3 years and I will have to wait until that time for an interview.

If anyone has been able to go around the problem or has a solution, please suggest it. I will really really appreciate it.

But for now I am as frustrated as one can get..

Did you say Jan 2002? You have to wait 3 years for the interview! oh! too long. Probably, this is the worst local office.
