Gurus:
I got a bunch of emails yesterday that me and my wife's I485 cases are
being transferred to Dallas,TX, office for schedule of interview. This is
what I got in my email (and the online status message shows the same):
On November 22, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in DALLAS, TX for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in DALLAS, TX will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
Currently I am living in Dallas,TX, area and I wonder what could have
prompted for my case to be transferred to their office! Also, I have no
idea is this is a good sign of the AOS process or is this just a beginning of
a huge black hole! What does it mean by "schedule your interview OR take
other action on your case"? Other action means?
Gurus, any thoughts?
