Hi Guys,
It's a pleasure to know about this forum. Sharing the information with each other, sure relives much burden, and educate us to face certain situations.
On September 27, 2002, my I485 application was transferred to another INS office (SFO) for them to schedule and conduct an interview.
I have some questions to be clarified. If anyone of you could share some information, I sure would appreciate it.
- How long does it usually take for them to schedule an interview?
- As my case is pending for almost a year by now, I recently joined another company where my job title and description are the same. Would there be any impact because of this?
- My EAD and H1 is expiring on Feb, 2003. Do I have to just renew EAD or also apply for a new H1 through my new employer?
- Well before the medical, my skin test was positive and a lymph node. Took medication for six months and got cured. The doctor preparing the medical report was satisfied of my status then and it was mentioned in the medical report too. Do I have to believe that this would have attracted my case for an interview? On any case, what document shall I keep ready related to this, when I go for an interview?
