Has anyone gone thru this situation please share your experience with me.
I had my interview in October at St Paul, MN location. Took 15 minutes and then officer asked for name change. I had a misspelling in my middle name that I asked him to correct. He filled out change of name form and gave me a copy and said at the oath I will get an official copy of name change along with the corrected name on the certificate.
Its been 3 months since the interview and no response. I went to the office last week and the officer at the window looked at my record in her computer and told me that my case has been transferred to Siuox Falls, SD. She couldn't see any reason why it was done. She thinks it may be due to the overload at St Paul office.
My sister had her interview at the same location in December and got her oath letter yesterday for the oath date of Feb. 15 in minnepolis. Her priority date was June 30th. Mine was June 2 of 2005. MY wife is going to apply soon as well.
Please share any ideas of what should I do?
