I am in the 7th yr of my H1. Here are my GC case details

485 filed 07/2004
AC21 used 01/2005 to move to employer B. My current 797 has expiration date of Feb 2009(reflecting 3 yr extension)
Plan to use AC21 again to move to employer C. The lawyer for Company C says that when we file the H1 transfer the H1 clock for the 3 years will start from scratch instead of starting from Feb 2006. This seems a little odd to me. I thought that the H1 would be just transfed with the 3 yr expiration date Feb 2009.. its confusing..
