Hello
I am going to transfer h1b visa from Company A to B and my new job requires me to travel internationally multiple times . My I- 94 with my old employer (companyA) is valid until March 2007.
1. Do I HAVE to get the new H1b (from company B) stamped or can I travel in and out of the US on my previous visa?
2. Also can I get a new visa/stamping prior my old visa expiring?
3 Also do you have to go back go your country of origin or you can go to canada or any other country to get the h1 stamping?

All you help/response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

---- You should have a valid visa stamped in your passport (this can be from employer A). At the POE you should show your I-797 from Company B to get a new I-94 as the old one will be surrendered at the point of departure

2. Also can I get a new visa/stamping prior my old visa expiring?

---- Yes, you can get a new visa stamping prior to the old one expiring for which you may need to seek an appointment

Also do you have to go back go your country of origin or you can go to canada or any other country to get the h1 stamping?

---- Not necessarily to the home country. You can certainly try in Canada. But if do proceed to other countries be prepared to defend yourself the reasons for applying at a Consulate in a different country
