My husband and I had our interview early this month at the Houston local office after our case was transferred from TSC to Houston. Our case is employment-based. AT the interview, the office was nice but informed us that their record showed my husband was once arrested in Italy; but the funny part of it is that my husband has never been to Italy before in his life, has never been arrested anywhere in the world!. He told the officer that it can't be him. At the end of the interview, the officer said she will have to review my husband's file some more before making decision. Anyway, to cut the long story short, my husband made an infopass today at the Houston local officer as his current EAD is about to expire. The officer he met with, informed him our I-485 has been approved according to info in her computer. Now the issue is this, she informed my husband that the file has been transferred to TSC. When my husband asked why?, she told him she is guessing it is so TSC can print the green card. Can't the Houston office print the card or is this the protocol for employment-based applications?. Please what do you think, what's your suggestion?. The officer also called TSC as this was confusing to her, and they told her they are yet to receive the file but will check and call her back. This is so very frustrating, your suggestion is appreciated. Do we have to worry or what?. It loks like someone messed up by sending the file back to TSC.
