My wife is currently in the US on a H-4 Visa. She got her H-4 stamped on December 28th, 2005 and entered the US on January 1st, 2005. She has a job offer from a company willing to sponsor her H-1B.
They will apply for her H-1B in April and also pay for the premium processing, so if all goes well she should get her approval by May.
Now, does this mean she has to wait till October to start working? or can she do so immediately after getting her H-1B approval notice?
