Transfer from CSC to San jose

Our I-485 RD is Nov 2002.
Case transferred to San jose office in June after a change of address update.
Still have not received any information.
Have received change of address notice and case transfer notice.
Does anyone have similar experience and how long is the wait after case transfer to San jose office... :(

Well it looks like it is case by case and there is no a general rule ... I don't know what to say. My file was transferred on September 7th and my lawyer told me that it will take like 2 months to get an interview done in San Jose. It looks like my lawyer was wrong to generalise ...

Yes my lawyer got a letter for interview for the 27th of October. Do you have a lawyer? if Yes, contact him and tell him to do something. You can always go yourself to visit the SJO. They will tell you if your file was received from Laguna office and on which date (or not). At least you will know more than what you know now.

By the way, I am not sure that the SJO takes into consideration the ND and RD of files but if they do, mine is April 2002 so like 6 months before yours but I am not sure at all that they take this into consideration.

You have to make an inquiry via fax or 800 number because a notice for interview usually takes two months.
