Transfer case approved in Dallas Office

Our 485s were transferred to Dallas office on 4/30/04. We did interview on 6/29 and had passport stamped in the interview.

My feeling is that Dallas office processed transfer cases relatively promptly. They take an action after 2-4 weeks of receiving your cases. For our cases, they issused FP after 3 weeks of transfer, issued interview notice after 3 weeks of receiving finger print results.

why second FP

your first FP was May 03, which should still be valid by now, did they explain why they needed you for a second FP?

My FP was also May 03, and I have been praying that I get my interview notice before Aug.

They didn't explain, we didn't ask. I guess it is because on-line status said "Finger print received .... pending review" before the transfer. Some people said "FP pending review" is harmless and some cases did get approved from there. I guess Dallas office has a different interpratation on it. They issued a new FP notice for our "FP pending review" case.
