I need some more clarification on my situation. I am f1-opt-h1 with the thesis defense of my masters degree here in the US pending. The immigration lawyer at my work place filed my h1 based on my BS and MS in India. She also used my transcripts from the US university. I was approved and have been working with them for over 16 months now. I now need to travel for work and the company is paying for my trip to canada to get the visa stamp. The lawyer at work doesnt seem to think that not having a degree from the US will be a matter for the consular stamping in Canada. She says that my transcripts from the US university and my original degree certificates from India are enough to prove educational credentials. I am going ahead and getting an education evaluation done with trustfort to take with me. on a side note all my degrees are in CS and I am working in the same field. I seem to be getting some conflicting information from some of the posts on here. Can someone please clarify.
Thanks
