tranfered to Newark

My case (Jan. 2002 case/eb2) has been transfered to Newark, NJ. Seems most EB1 cases are transfered and I am trying to figure out why my case is tranfered. Anybody know the main reasons for tranfer? How long to wait at Newark office??? Thanks.

Since you are EB1, it could be 'a reason' for transfer.

But oflate, since 1/3 of the cases gets transferred, it goes w/o saying that most of the EB1's would be transferred..!

Just my observation/thought..!

I could be wrong, but I think BCIS wants to see you and talk face to face with you, that you are really "GOOD" or "EXCEPTIONAL" to get approved under EB1 (Priority Workers).

My case is EB2. This is why I am frustrated.

If you live in Cherry hills's jurisdiction you are looking for one year of wait. If you live in Newark's jurisdiction then may be a couple of months.
