I couldn\'t believe how quiet the ASC was....there were 2 people just leaving when we got there and no one else! Our appointment was for 3pm. We got there at 2:30 and were done by 2:45. Just as we were leaving, 2 more people showed up. Considering there was about 10 emplyees working, I was surprised they weren\'t busier.
Everyone was very friendly, helpful and had a good sense of humor. One of my fingers is badly scarred from a cut and the technician was wondering what had happened to my finger
Other than the appointment letter and passport, they also wanted to see my EAD; but that is in my wallet so it was no problem. Nice to have that over with.
 
Ken, FP went well

We went at 11 A.M whereas our appointement time is 3 P.M. They haven\'t checked the dayte or time of appointment. We forgot to take EAD . But with driving licene, they have done FP. Nice people.

Your FP notice probably states where u need to go for FP.

Did you go on the date on the FP notice ? I heard you can go anyday before the date and do your FP. Is that right?

ASC is Applicant Support Center

They are a contractor and not actual INS personnel. They actually were making fun of INS workers...I kept my mouth shut (maybe the walls are bugged...).
The appointment letter gives you the exact address and time to appear.
We went on our scheduled date, as it was convenient and Charlotte is 3 hours from Raleigh, so I wouldn\'t want to go early and then not be accepted. However, if people live in Charlotte and want to get it over with, you might want to try going early I doubt it would be a problem as they just asked us to write our phone # on our appointment letter but never really looked at it.
Also, they do a hand scan right into the computer which I thought was neat, no ink or mess. Shows how little I know about new technology like that,

Our I-485 got approved on July 12th.

TSC is very fast.I've heard from AVM that all applications of my family (4) got approved.

FP done at Charlotte.

Tram congratulations!!!!
That certainly gives me hope, although I checked the other day and there was nothing yet. When are you going for stamping?
