I have filed I-130 and I-485 concurrently. I had received a traffic ticket about 4 years back where the fine was more than $500. On the I-485, I have stated 'No' to the question about being fined for violating any law because it said to exclude traffic violations. I was not aware at that time that if the fine is more than $500, I have to mention it. Has anyone had a similar situation before and will this cause any problems and is there anything I should do now to remedy this? Also, I do not have any documentation related to this violation. I requested my driving history from the state I was in at that time but they only provide history for the last 3 years and does not show this violation.
