traffic citation 10 yrs apart

Gents,
I am getting ready to file N400.

1) Sometime in 2008 I hit another car and was ticketed for "not reducing speed to avoid collision". The DA dismissed the charges. I recently told him about N400, and he advised to use "voluntary dismissal" as the final outcome. He gave me documentation to support it.

2) Then I realized I had a speeding ticket in 1998. I hired an attorney then, and he pleaded guilty on my behalf & blamed the speedometer. I don't have any records, nor does he. He advises me to say "hired an attorney, convicted of lesser charge" as the outcome in N400.

Now I am not sure how to go about disclosing this on the application. Any thoughts appreciated.

Don't worry you should be fine.

Just bring disposition dockets if fine was over $500 or DUI reckless driving ....

- License, registration and proof of insurance please.
- Officer, could you hold beer for me, while im getting DL and registration.
