Could anyone let me know if LCA Tracking number will be issued for sure when my LCA moves from SESA(Iowa) to DOL office(Chicago)? My employer/Attorney claims that its up to DOL to issue the tracking number and some times they might not issue at all.
DOL will issue a receipt for the application - this may currently take some time based on your DOL (SFO is nearly 4-6 months), but they always issue the receipt (which has a number), that number is the tracking number.
