Hi everyone at NSC
Whether you are at Detroit, St. Paul or Chicago the Notice of Action and FP notice is independent of the Field/local offices. Since there are so few people in each of the local office threads, it is hard to track the initial process until the FP and name check are cleared and one is in the que for interview at the local office. Additionally, processing times vary at NSC each month. Sometime, NOA/FP arrive within 2 weeks, at other times it takes almost a month. This common tracking thread will help NSC applicants track their intial application. With the huge number of 485 applications that will be filed in July the process may slow down further.
Anyway, my dates are in my signature. Since the chance of getting caught up in the name check mess is over 30% (as per FBI itself) I have also sent an FOIPA to FBI and that can be tracked too, if you include the send date in your signature.
thanks and good luck!
