track plastic card processing

You should get the status on your I-485 status - like "your card is ordered and will be mailed as soon as it is ready....". The timeframe depends on which district office you stamped your passport. Some offices are very fast (people get card within 3 weeks), but some are very slow (probably they take it as a very low priority task).
