Tourist/Visitor B Visa and Traveler's Insurance

My parents are applying for Visitor/Tourist visa to US and has appointment with US consulate in India day after tomorrow.

They have not obtained any Visitor insurance yet.

Please advice if they would need to show Visitor insurance proof to the consulate officer in order to obtain the tourise/visitor visa (B Visa) successfully.

Please advice ASAP so that they can obtain the visitor insurance by tomorrow itself in case it is needed...

You are not required to buy the visitors insurance before they appear for the interview.

However, after they get the visa, and before they travel to the U.S., you should consider purchasing visitors insurance for them, available for instant purchase at http://www.insubuy.com
