(1) My previous company sponsored my Labor Certificate in 2000. It got appoved but I left that company soon. My question is: Is that Labor certificate still valid now? Can my previous
company continue to sponsor my Greencard using
that Labor Certificate?

(2) Now I am working for another company, it it legal
for my previous company to apply Greencard for me?

I really appreciate your help, expecially under current tough situation for a new labor certification in Maryland.

1) Yes. You can use it unless your previous employer used it already as a substitution labor for some one else in the company. Seeing at the time it is taking for LC in most states, it is best choice to go for it w/ ur previous employer, if LC is still available and they are willing to sponser

2) yes. GC is for future job and it is completely legal. You can join that company later on. It only matters at I-485 approval time as INS may ask for an interview, if you are not working for the company that is sponsering your GC. All you need at that time is a letter from the sponsering company stating that they are still offering you that job.
