Hi, My husband and I made an appointment at Toronto Consulate for H1 & H4 visas on 03/30. Our current I-797 expires on 04/01/2005, and we already have the newly approved I-797 valid from 04/02/2005. Just found out that "Appointment should be made ten days prior to the validity date on the I-797 or after the validity date has passed" from the web site of amcits. Does this mean we have to change our appointment to a date after 04/12? Will us be denied visas if we showed up on 03/30? I would like to make sure I understand what they mean.
