unless when u go for american passport and there are issues at that point of time..take it easy

My lawyer said there's no law that says you cannot leave the sponsoring company at the moment of your approval.
 
I wonder if we should check with the people who are now applying for Citizenship...This may end our theoretical discussion about different outcomes.
 
There are a couple of huge threads on the "Life After Green Card" forum on this topic, opinions seem to be divided. Some people say wait x amount of months before doing it. My advise read the hundreds of messages related and draw your own conclusions.
