tommorrow i will mail my medical exam results and G 325A to the ins,

what will happen next?


will i get biometrics appointment soon?

and if so ,when?

when i do the biometrics,how long it takes to get GC?


ONE MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION

when i file my adjustment status appliocation on feb 2001,

the ins officer told me that when i get GC ,the issuing date oon the card will be the date i was granted asylum on feb 2000

many immigration books mentioned the same thing,

some guys on this forum mentioned that the issuing date on GC will be one year backdated from the date i get GC,

now who is telling the truth here?

When you are approved, YOUR GC and not your asylum thats the date on your green card. IF you were approved tommorow, the date will be July 01, 2004 on your GC since asylee GC's are backdated 1 year.

No one is lying here and no one needs to. You just need to accept the reality that its 4 years after when you will get your citizenship..
