AP1 : got RFE in December - still not approved !!!

Seriously I had hoped to see more late 2001 and early 2002 approvals just so that we know when really is the time to expect for an approval. (instead of waiting impatiently day after day which sometimes brings anxiety to some) BUT of course BCIS' inconsistency makes things harder for us to estimate when our cases will be touched.. cases are like now being approved or touched at random - its now almost becoming a mad scramble... and we can only hope for a lucky thing to happen and that is for our case to get picked up. And here's something I learned hanging around here...
Don't let the (long) wait affect you mentally because its not really healthy that way. SO, hold on there, your turn will also come sooner or later, NO MATTER WHAT.

Hey Congrats..

Let me be the first one to congratulate you and well said. In all fairness, 2001's should be getting it first but seeing VCIS working is good anyhow..

I guess we can expect 1 or 2 more approvals posted today/tomorrow.

I had misread it to be 05/2002.
I think 2003 might be a typo by einuj somar.
Or FP2 is a typo?

I didn't mean to cause confusion to everyone. Its May 2002 RD. And it is only my first AP since I never apply for one till mid last year.

AP RFE was to show proof of an approved I-140. - And we have the approval notice which we sent immediately back to them.
 
I just hope that USCIS is not doing these approvals just to be able to claim that they are now processing May cases and that the backlog is reduced...
 
Stamping Question

I got my approval letter last weekend !

Question : Can I go to a closer Service Center for stamping or do I have to go the Center specified in the approval letter ?
