Today I got my Biometric Appointment Notice

It came in the mail today. I sent out my paperwork last week of July- see sig. It looks almost like the NOR's, but a little different. Wifey of course doesn't realize the importance of this letter but maybe in a few weeks when she can go work legaly she will appreciate it.

I don't post much here. I have been reading this forum for almost a year now. If I have a question, I do a search and usually find the answer. We are all pretty much going through the same thing here. I have been reading for the past few days or so reguarding questions with the New Rule for Bio, don't call us - we'll mail you.

So I thought I would help who I could and made the little Sig with dates and hopefully someone could benefit from it.

Actually when she was opening the letter, I was thinking Oh Great, another letter saying we needed more information - get in back of the line again. Don't worry honey, you'll be working before Christmas. BTW, we live North of Boston.
 
Thanks a lot for your posting and best of luck. Our receipt date is 8/5 and we are still waiting for the biometrics notice. The I485 appointment, however, is already scheduled!
 
Thanks for the posting Van5152. You've given the rest of us an estimate on the timeline for this notice.

When they have schedule your FP & Bio?
 
They have us scheduled for Friday 23 Sept 2005. In a week.

One more thing that "may" explain why this was fast. Wifey had lost her I-94, she didn't realize how important it was, when she first came to the USA, she met some bad people that took advantage of her. So the 1st week of May we applied for a I-102 - Replacement for a I-94 Arrival-Departure Record. Of course 60 days come and we get a letter requesting more information, we send it back out with the information requested and 60 days later she gets her I-94. We mailed out the I-485 package next day.
She is fresh in the computer, they have already done extensive research on her. Maybe this is why it was fast. I dont know, all I want is to stop the all that nagging. :)
 
I recieved my FP/BIO appointment this week too!!

11 Aug - DORA Dallas
17 AUG - Receipt date for NOAs (I-130 and I-485)
20 AUG - Recieved NOAs
09 SEP - Receipt date for FP/BIO
14 SEP - FP/BIO appointment recieved
23 SEP - FP/BIO appointment
