To whom who has been outside Canada for 3+ years and wants to apply PR card

I am wondering how people who has been outside Canada for over 3 years is considering to apply the PR card in the near future. If you are in this situation like me, how do you fill the apllication form? If you declare your actual absence of 3+ years, obviously, you will not get the PR card. Is any one interested in this topic? Can some one share your opinion with me? Thanks!

I am in the same situation mgyuan.
I also have been outside Ca for about 3 years. I saw PR app form, its pretty tough, it ask all the details about you of previous five years (all addresses, employers and college/univ etc) and also requires attestation which is the difficult part.
I am sorry right now i can't offer any info, for which i am also looking for now a days.

I also have another confusion that the Ca imm visa is issued for a period of 5 years so if the PR is issued after 3 years, will it expire after 2 years ? or will it be issued for another 5 years ?

If any one recently applied for or got PR card after being absent from Ca for a long time pls share your experience.

Any input or opinions from the gurus around would highly be appreciated.
