if u r writing a ckheck for ur wife please makesure she writes her own personalcheck,bcos i wrote the check for my wife for the renewal of EAD and her application was rejected.

they 'll mail the rejection otice alone proplerly bocs they are after money

I mailed application to local service center since my wife's case is pending at local service center. I did not write check instead I sent a money order. I kept a copy of it just to have some proof. I will wait for two weeks for receipt notice and then I will start chasing.
I have two reasons to send it to local service center.
1. BCIS sites says to do so and about check "do not write personal check. Personal check is only be used if you are submitting application in person.
2. It might remind SFO service center that we need to approve her case.

I am hoping by the time she will be eligible to get iead she will have GC.

You can just walk to local service center and get your EAD

One of my friend in December, Just went to SFO office and got it His. He could do so because his case was transferred to SFO.
