To those of you whose case was approved...

Guys as I reported earlier, my case was approved on May 25. I got e-mail notification informing that my case was approved and new greencard was ordered for me. The following day on May 26, I got another update that they sent me a welcome notice. My LUD has been changing constantly...

Tonight on May 31, I got another e-mail notification. It says that my case was approved on May 31 and a notice of approval was mailed to me.

I am now worried that they may send me another e-mail that my case is still pending...what is wrong with them...
 
based on my experience, " a notice of approval " in the last statement means green card. congratuation, you will receive green card in a couple of days.

Freeman I have that feeling too. I think on May 26 they send me a welcome notice, which is still on the way. and on may 31 they sent me my creencard. So I will wait and see what comes through in coming days and weeks...Thanks guys..

Please update the forum because I checked my Mom's case on the INS WEBSITE and they said on May 26th 2006 her case was approved but we are still waiting the approval letter.. It is funny how they operate..
 
Guys: Thanks to God. My case has come to rest. Today, I got two notices. One welcome letter; and the other greencard approval and the actual plastic card together. As I told you earlier, once they approved my case on may 25, they told me that they sent me a welcome notice on may 26. That was right according to e-mail I got, but they sent the welcome notice on may 30. But they right on the mail on May 31, which was the actual greencard...It was backdated as of may 25, 2005. Four more years to go before I can apply for citizenship.

Final note. I am really feeling very relieved at least. I don't have to worry about anything that has to do with the USCIS. Just wait for the citizenship in 2010. I will visit here once a while but not definitely as I used before....I hope all of you will have your greencards and citizenship..God bless all of us..

What a great day! Thank goodness yout plastic arrived on time and properly backdated! Hope, they spelled your name correctly :rolleyes: Enjoy your freedom!
P. S. I'm preparing to sue the USCIS if nothing happens till the end of July. LUD got firmly stuck at 02/09/06.
 
Yea, my mom got her green card today and it was backdated to may 25, 2005. Wow, i am so happy for her.
 
Morning: I have examined my card from every angle and every information on it seems correct. sefe: tell your mother that we have got our greencards on the same date and wil become eligible citizenship on the same day. Thanks guys.

I don't blame her. Being stuck with the INS for so long will drive anybody crazy. I have exact same plan myself and I know my date - March 25, 2009. ;)
