Where are you my friend? What are the INS bozos doing to you? We have not heard from you for a while. Please fill us in.

My sentiments exactly, I have been waiting to hear from our friend, I hope all is well with him and best of luck on his adjustment process.....

Shamshon,

For chicago one has to take the approval letter to the office on West Jackson in Downtown? ... How much time it took you when you went for Stamping ? The reason I am asking is that do I need to take a full day off to get this done... My office is far from downtown....

Regards,

RAsylee,

We had our passport stamped in the chicago office. It depends on the time you go there. I went about 8:00 a.m and took 2 hrs to had mine stamped. On another day we went about 8:30 a.m to have my wife's passport stamped and it took Four hours to get her stamped. There is no rule of thumb. My advice, if you could be there at 7:00 A.M. Then you are sure that you will be among the first to be processed. In my case they just had my passport and two pictures and the process took 15 minutes. In my wife's case the officer asked her about I-94 that shows assylum status and work authorization cards. Although it is the same office, you could be asked different questions from different officers. Don't submit any RTD if it is still valid. Good Luck.
