MK,

It is ok to be cautious. But here is what I learned from various sources:

The persons with ND of 1997 and not having their cases approved often have issues here and there. Not all of them are their fault. I know one man who did not get INS's biometics notice and got INS's intend-to-deny notice. He appealed and the appeal alone took 2 years. I also know one woman who, for some reason, can not get fingerprints accepted. She took 5 FPs before getting her GC, recently.

I believe we are in good shape. Trust me: we are on top of our cases and they are under the gun. I am very sure with the mailing problem in east coast, there will be a lot of asylees missing the deadline. MK, some asylees can not read English, no internet access, or both. We are much better.

Homeless,

I donot recall seeing anyone receiving RFI with ND 2002. Please double check.

Windywd,

I'm sorry, guess I missed somthing. I've noticed there're people from 1996 who did not get as far as we have, the bottom line, I'm hopeful but not over optimistic.

Whether, I'll get biometrics or denial notice, it's yet to be seen however I'm prepared for the ultimate. It does not make me feel good but there's nothing else I can do, all of us are in the same boat.

The mail issue is not new, I mailed my I-485 application back in Aug 2000 which is still missing. What they have now is from March, 2001. I hope everyone gets their RFI-RFE before the deadline.

I know, there are numerous people who can't read or write english. Like the rest of the forum, I'm here to help as much as possible.

Windywd, please accept my apology if I said anything which may have offended you. Lets hope and pray, that our misery comes to an end.

Best Regards,
MK

oh MK,

I think you have been waiting too long, so getting a little anxious.

My logic is that, since we can do nothing now, we got to be hopeful and cheer up. This country is (or only should be) governed by law. They should comply with the court order. I feel they must do it; they even post the settlement in their homepage.

Take a break and wait for your GC. It should come in soon.

Best Regards.

Windywd,
:), I had to respond, don't want you to feel neglected. It's not the wait, the process itself brings back bad memories.

You've been very logical, I'm preparing Chicken Fajita for my Son's Birthday :D. Who gets to take a break, you must be having a good time.

Thankyou, for your kind thoughts. See you around.

Regards,
MK
