Did i got to know about your RFE on 485?
What it is about?

I'm in the same boat.
My 140 is approved on 05/17/04 after RFE on Exp. letter
And on 06/06/04 I saw RFE status on my 485.
We(My lawyer) have still not received RFE.
Was reading to your previous post and so thought to ask you.

Please keep posting your exp as well.

This is bad attitude from ma-user

Guys,
this is bad attitude. When somebody want some help they post it in the forum.
And once they are done they never reply back. Why is that attitude
Look for ex. I have asked Ma-user to respone whether he rec'ved RFE contents or not and he/she is not responding back.
When he needed some help he was on all over.
don't you think we should change this attitude. :(
 
RFE was for Updated Employment letter.

Just logged in and posting the reply straightaway, and there is no need to feel people do not respond. Let us not talk about attitudes. Yes , it could be frustrating if there is no reply because I have been through that , but I think a day's delay is better than no reply at all. I hope you understand.

My company / Attorney is working on preparing the letter.

I am also waiting for my I-485 rfe Letter..which was issued on 06/08/2004//

Sanju, I got the RFE info. on Tuesday, so the Attorney's office would have received on Monday or Tuesday ( i.e., 06/14/2004 or 06/15/2004 ).
 
As soon as I re'ved RFE this website would be first to be updated.
ma_user- you said udpated employment letter(this puzzles me). Are you AC21 case.?If not then Your lawyer might already submitted employement letter or he might have forgot. That makes interesting.
Lets c in my case what it comes toooooo :o

There is no rule that RFE will not be issued when u already have submitted the documents.

RFE for updated employment letter doesn't mean that people who use AC-21 wud get it

I-485 is atleast a 2 yrs process. So even though u submit ur employment letter at the time of filing the I-485, USCIS wants to verify whether u work for same employer and whether the position still exists even after such a long time, so that's why they sometimes ask for an updated employment letter

To cut the story short, all they need is an latest employment letter

So what u r trying to tell is ma_user/or all us has to wait for 2 years even after this RFE.
That thing would sucks.
I was thinking we got RFE should be good thing. Atleast some time in between 3-4 months we will get approved.

To cut short your theory our 485 was filed only a year back.
Hmmm that makes more interesting :o
 
yes Just re'ved today morning call from lawyer
its about medical examination.
They want to have reexam for TB test.
For me and my wife.
So lets c

As looking at trend that might triger you FP.
And once that is done you might get approval soon :)
