To Greaty-k, ODBC Problem in Rupnet

Sorry to wake you up on the weekend because of Rupnet problem

It is not displaying data at all because of ODBC error since 23rd morning. We would have lost some entries.

Can you please look into this today? The problem is still continuing. This problem was already posted yesterday by 180member.

Also a suggestion. Can you remove the extra column in the rupnet data which was added around 22nd of this month?

Right now which ever columns exists they seem to be good enough for analysis. This extra column is not a good idea. I don't remember the name as I saw it only when I was exiting rupnet, day-before-yesterday, and felt that there was one extra column around EAD column. Yesterday morning when I tried to enter rupnet, it stopped displaying the data. (This just for your information)

It seems despite so many postings regd the Rupnet problem, there is no return of Greaty-k.

This can be rectified only when Greaty-k is back. No clue whether he is working on or on a business trip or somewhere.

Here is a get-around for viewing the database until Great-K fixes the problem:

Go to
http://www.rupnet.com/immigration/reports/enter_date_range.asp?place=100

and construct your own query.

eg. To see all the applications with RD in Sept. 2001, you can set
From: 09-01-2001
To: 09-30-2001
Apply on "Receipt Date"
Select your service center

Then click "Go Tracker"

Because of the problem in rupnet, I guess the data has not been updated and even this query method also shows data till Aug 21st only when I saw the Aug approvals.

Hope the problem will be taken care of soon. Good luck everyone who is waiting to hear the approval soon.

Your observation seems incorrect. I saw data beyond Aug 21st. To see it for yourself, go to

http://www.rupnet.com/immigration/reports/enter_date_range.asp?place=100

Then select

From 08-22-02
To 08-22-02
Apply on Field "Approval Date"

Select VSC

Click "Go Tracker" and you will see applications approved on Aug 22nd.

I think the database is working fine, just that several particular predefined queries are having syntax errors.

The problem is fixed. Was away on the weekend and fixed it on Sunday.
It was because of some changes for "Transfer cases".
because of that, if the user is not logged in, Id becomes null,no data will be displayed and shows "Processing records..........."
Really apologize for the inconvenience caused and not responding to the messages.

Thanks for your great work on the immigration tracker on rupnet.

I noticed something different too. The monthly report used to fit nicely on one screen, but now it has gotten too wide that I have to use scroll bar to see all the fields. It must be caused by the new column gcFunWating was talking about, but I am not sure which column it is. I like the way it used to be, or maybe I need to get a bigger monitor.
