Can one change employement from the sponsoring company after I140 approval but before 485 application - provided i join a similar job, title, salary with another employer?

Can i go ahead with I485 filing on the basis of the new job which i joined using a H1 transfer? provide employment letter from this new company for 485 filing?

I have been talking to several attorneys and at least two of them said that we can exploit AC21. Any views on this.

My opinion is No, unless old employer is willing to state your job is available in the future and intend to hire you once GC approved. I-140 is specific employer\'s petition. The only exception is 180 days rule, the underlying I-140 remain valid even you change employer.
 
the old employer is ready to give supporting letters if need be

is it still a no.. or can i go ahead?
