To enquiry about I-485 status

Hi all knowledgeable persons:
My priority date becomes current on september visa bulletin (EB2),
1) now if I want to know about the status of my I-485 application like: whether namecheck is done etc.... what options should I take in IO's phone number 1-800-375-5283 to talk to them.

2) I tried to schedule an appointent date in INFOPASS and but looks like there is no option for that unless I got any notice letter from USCIS, is that true...? or how can I schedule thru' INFOPASS to know my exact status (exactly what option in INFOPASS website I have to take).

My case is in TSC, RD: 07/02/07, ND:08/30/07 (EB2).

If anybody knows what options to reach customer rep. or supervisor by calling
1-800-375-5283 please help me on that.

select language -> 2 (inquire about status) -> 1 (you do know the receipt number) -> the last option
