To contact Congressman or Senator ??

Hi,

I need some advice in contacting Congressman or Senator,
I recently responded to RFE for emplyment verification, its notyet passed 60 days. just thought to contact congressman to ask for help in my case.
Can I do that or Do I have to wait upto 60days for a decision from VSC.
