My friend and I have decided to travel light for up to 90 days and see some sights in the US, around June 2006 start-off.
We've agreed on Seattle, New York and California as the three main 'must visit' places, with possibly Florida also.
Does anybody know what the cheapest ways to go about this are?
I believe Miami has super-cheap rooms where it's basically just a room with a bed, that'd be fine, as eating and so on is one of the social parts of the trip.
How about actual travelling? Are the Greyhound buses the cheapest way to move around, or a small flight, etc?
Any ideas or do's and don'ts would be great, thanks
