It’s my turn to ask a question… I called the VSC yesterday and spoke to an IIO – very nice lady. My RD is 09/21/01 and the fingerprints I submitted on 01/25/02 came back as unclassifiable. She said that a second request for FP should’ve been mailed, but it never was… So, it’s good enough reason to stay in touch with the VSC on a regular basis.

My question is:

Will it delay my wife’s case (she’s the primary applicant), her FP are OK, i.e. will they wait to get my FP to approve us both together or the cases can go separately?

If they recieve the fresh set of finger prints before your spouse is Approved, there should be no problem.

If they dont recieve the fresh set of finger prints Before your spouse is approved, her case will be approved as and when the IIO works on her file, and in your case INS will issue a RFE for Re Doing Finger prints.

Either way no big deal.
