Guys,

What kind of stamp you got on your pass port.
They just write you EAC #, A #, approval date and exp date manually and put a red stamp stating "lawful . Does every one got same stamp ?

since I never saw anyone's stamped passport for GC, I was expecting a stamp similar to VISA stamp, some decoration and a printed paper will be glued to pass port page.

After she stamped our passports, I was like "IS THIS THE STAMP WE GET AFTER BURYING THESE MANY YEARS?"

Do you wanna have a choice in stamps (like postal stamps ), there is an additional $500 for that (let me know when u understood that I am kidding)..................

How many years would u settle down to for the stamp that u got? Negotiate like with a car dealer for fanciness of the stamps.

The more u negotiate, fancier the stamp gets........

Furthermore, their hand writing is so bad ... like a notary sitting out side of court in India.

I can just imagine if we had a GC process in india. I could visualize many shops around immigration building - "STAMPS in 10 minutes - any color any design & any immigration work."
